2014-12-31 Bob - Updated field "PRECINCT_2" AND THE associoated POLYGON BOUNDARIES according to the new Harris County Precinct maps I downloaded from Harris County Tax office. (Q:\GIS\Data\Raster\Boundary\Jurisdiction\Voter_District\Harris_County_Precinct_maps) Only changes were to the borders that used Railroad tracks, Creeks, rivers, or channels as borders. These were redrawn to lay on the corrected boundaries using the 2014 aerial as the ground referencing layer. 2016-03-17 Bob - Verified Harris and Chambers County voter precincts accuracy. Downloaded all of the reference maps from Haris County

Harris county split precinct 103 along Barbers Hill road and FM 1942
Then joined the northern half of 103 to existing precinct 0531 to create a larger 0531 precinct
Corrected the polygons for 2016
2025-04-26 - Updated Precinct code to 4 digits, downloaded voting precinct shapefile from https://data.capitol.texas.gov/dataset/precincts, clipped that layer to ETJ, updated geometries of current layer with geometries of download with append tool |
